GiftCraft Privacy Policy

GiftCraft ("the App") is a Shopify app that lets merchants offer gift wrapping in the cart. This policy explains what data the App accesses and how it's used.

What we access

To provide its functionality, the App accesses:

• Product data, to create and manage the hidden "gift wrap" products it adds to a merchant's store
• Order totals and gift wrap line items, to power the merchant's revenue dashboard and note fulfillment staff about which orders need wrapping

What we don't access

The App does not access, store, or process any customer-identifying information — no names, email addresses, phone numbers, or shipping addresses. A customer's optional gift message is stored only as text on the order itself (visible to the merchant, like any other order note) and isn't otherwise collected or retained by the App.

How data is stored

Data described above is stored securely and is only used to operate the App for the merchant who installed it. We do not sell or share merchant or store data with third parties. Data is retained for as long as the App is installed on a store, and is deleted when the merchant uninstalls the App, in line with Shopify's data protection requirements.

Your rights

Merchants can request access to or deletion of any data the App holds by contacting us at the email below. Requests are also handled automatically through Shopify's mandatory compliance webhooks.
